It has been a while since I made an update to the Blog. I wanted to take a moment to put in a write up here as to why there will continue to be a bit of a delay with upcoming blog posts.
One of the most terrifying things when you sit down to write is to actually write. It is staggering to look at your blank screen or page and think to yourself “I’m expected to fill this?”. I had a lot of trouble with getting my first novel started. There were so many ideas in my head, and so many missing spaces, that I was lost in what I should be doing. Online guides of general advice helped some, but there was no substitute for sitting down and finding what my process was.
I know what you are thinking, “Wowzah, I sure do wish my writing, or other creative venture, was a habit. That way I could just do it without thinking.” Well, dear reader, it is a happy Sunday indeed, because that is what we will be going over today. How I, and how you can, establish your creative practice into a habit that you go back to.

Motivating oneself is hard. The ability to write, organize, plan, all of that falls away to the very core of what we artists need to do. We have to wake up every day and find the motivation to do what needs to be done. It seems so simple when looked at objectively. Finding ways to motivate yourself should be easy. All I know is what it took for me.
GreedFall was released on September 10th by the French Development studio “Spiders”. Previous titles by Spiders in recent years include “Bound by Flame” and “The Technomancer”. While Spiders has had trouble before in hitting the mark, they really seem to shine at what they are good at in GreedFall.
